Privacy protocol for processing personal data

In this privacy statement, Indicium B.V. explains how personal data of customers, potential customers and other persons with whom Indicium B.V. is handled. (indirect) contact (customers, suppliers). Personal data is data that can reasonably be traced back to an individual. Indicium B.V. will process this personal data with the greatest possible care and in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Personal data that we process

Indicium B.V. processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data that we process:

  • Company name
  • Company address
  • Company phone number
  • Company e-mailaddress
  • VAT number
  • Bank account number (IBAN)
  • All communication around quote requests and order confirmations of our products and services.
  • We process data from contact persons within a company:
    • Pre- and surname
    • Phone number
    • E-mailaddress
  • Any communication with our contactperson
  • All agreements made with the contactperson
  • IP addresses

Special or sensitive data that we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data from website visitors who are younger than 16 years old. Unless they have parental or guardian permission. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without this permission, please contact us via info@indicium.nl and we will delete this information.

We do not process any special or sensitive information as described in Article 9 of the law: (personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data, health data, data relating to a person’s sexual behavior or sexual orientation).

For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data

Indicium B.V. processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Sending our newsletter (only if you registered for this).
  • To be able to contact you if necessary to carry out our services
  • To provide goods and services to you
  • To inform you about changes to our services and products
  • Handling your payment
  • Complying with a legal obligation, such as information that we need for our tax return.

Automated decision making

Indicium B.V. does not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for people. This concerns decisions that are taken by computer programs or systems, without involving a person (for example an employee of Indicium B.V.).

How long do we keep your personal data

Indicium B.V. does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary for the purposes for which it was obtained and to comply with our legal obligations. This generally means that your personal data will be kept for as long as one of the following applies:

  • Your personal data is necessary to provide you with services or products;
  • Your personal data is necessary to protect and defend our rights and property (normally for the duration of the applicable statutory limitation period); or
  • We are required by applicable laws and regulations to keep your personal data, for example due to tax legislation.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Indicium B.V. only provides personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

Indicium B.V. uses functional and analytical. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. View, modify or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Indicium B.V. and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@indicium.nl. In response to such a request, we always first contact you to verify whether this request was actually made by yourself.We will respond to your request as soon as possible, within four weeks. Indicium B.V. takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.
